Free searching game

Treasure Hunt Simulator is a free searching experience for Roblox created by HenryDev. The game’s name perfectly describes exactly what it is. All you need to do is dig for various grades of treasure. Treasure Hunt Simulator is relatively new, having only been released in 2018. In that time, the game has become quite popular, amassing a total player count of over 579 million. Even more impressive is the fact that over 3 million players have the game listed as one of their favorites.

This is a fairly casual game. There’s no real competition, and you’re not in danger of being killed in the sandpit. Therefore, this game is rather similar to a casual tycoon game. As such, Lumber Tycoon 2 would be a really good alternative that you’d likely enjoy if you like Treasure Hunt Simulator. Another game you might enjoy is Build a Boat for Treasure

The sandpit

This is the main area of the game where you’ll likely start your Treasure Hunt Simulator journey. The objective here is simple. All you need to do is dig. The more sand you dig up, the more you’ll be able to sell. If you sell enough sand, you’ll be able to buy new tools that dig faster. The tools you get in the beginning are painfully slow. The deeper you dig, the more prevalent treasure chests will be. The deeper chests will likely also be those of higher values, such as the Astronaut's chest. This one can give you 24,000 coins at once.

Premium

Unfortunately, in a trend getting more and more popular on Roblox, the majority of Treasure Hunt Simulator is locked behind a paywall. The game has a VIP island where you presumably get bigger and better rewards for your digging, but this isn’t the only experience locked behind a premium tag. In truth, the sandpit is the only place you can explore for free. The prison, volcano, pirate island, and Atlantis are all considered premium content and thus blocked off from anyone not willing to haul out their Robux card.

Fun but limited

Overall, Treasure Hunt Simulator is really fun if you like tycoon-style games. However, if you want to progress further than the sandpit - which will eventually become boring as your rewards get bigger and bigger and thus start to mean less.

You’ll need to pay for access to anywhere else.

In Softonic we scan all the files hosted on our platform to assess and avoid any potential harm for your device. Our team performs checks each time a new file is uploaded and periodically reviews files to confirm or update their status. This comprehensive process allows us to set a status for any downloadable file as follows:

Clean

It’s extremely likely that this software program is clean.

What does this mean?

We have scanned the file and URLs associated with this software program in more than 50 of the world's leading antivirus services; no possible threat has been detected.

Warning

This software program is potentially malicious or may contain unwanted bundled software.

Why is the software program still available?

Based on our scan system, we have determined that these flags are possibly false positives.

What is a false positive?

It means a benign program is wrongfully flagged as malicious due to an overly broad detection signature or algorithm used in an antivirus program.

We’d like to highlight that from time to time, we may miss a potentially malicious software program. To continue promising you a malware-free catalog of programs and apps, our team has integrated a Report Software feature in every catalog page that loops your feedback back to us.

Flag any particular issues you may encounter and Softonic will address those concerns as soon as possible.
